Couples for Christ (CFC) is a movement intended for the renewal and strengthening of Christian family life. The members have committed themselves to the Lord and to one another so that they may grow in maturity as men and women of God and fulfill their primary vocation of raising up families under the Lordship of Jesus Christ and for the service of the Kingdom of God.

Couples for Christ is a work of the Lord which raises up Christian couples and establishes Christian families committed to spreading the Good News of the liberation of humanity from sin, through the power of the Holy Spirit.

MORAL LEVELS OF SEXUAL EVALUATION.

The first most known level is the Universal principle, which concerns the objective norm of morality, found to be the nature of human person and taken completely to all its parts and essential relations. This evaluative norm is expressed in term of creativity and integration.

 

 

 

Creative growth as a person toward integration as a self into society expresses in a very fundamental manner how sexuality is to serve the human and be constant with human freedom and dignity.

VALUES IN SEXUAL CONDUCTS.

Total human person is committed to foster by his or her conduct both creative growth as a person and integration into society, and hence the necessity to ask whether and to what extent genital conduct realizes such values like; personal love and freedom, respect and reverence for the other as person, honesty, fidelity, social responsibility, service to life and joy.

PART II:THE GREATEST VIRTUE IN SEXUALITY: CHASTITY.

Chastity is an inner reality enabling us to express properly

the truth of our sexuality in our attitudes and actions.

Good moral habits [moral virtues] are needed to lead the good life. And as Kierkegaard said, ‘the ethical is the very breath of the eternal,’[1] we have the obligation to value this ethical virtue to sexuality. And since virtuous acts are complex acts, which proceed from prudence and some moral virtue, consequently it implies that the intended goal is set by the moral virtue and the means to attain the goal is determined by prudence. Hence, to live morally as the sexual beings we are, we need to develop by positive acts the moral virtue of chastity. Its main purpose is to help us use our sexuality to grow as persons and to integrate ourselves as male or female in every area of our lives, not just in situations in which we express ourselves in a genital manner. Chastity is the moral virtue that enables us to live our sexuality in its fullness in keeping with out particular state in life. It concerns the whole personality with its capacity for love and warmth and human relationships; it facilitates the fullest realization of integration of one’s self as male or female and fosters the community.

PART I: PURPOSE AND MEANING OF SEXUALITY.

Sex is distinct from sexuality. Sex is a biologically based need. Oriented toward generation of new life and toward pleasure and release of tension as well. The aim or goal of sex is genital activity culminating in organism. On the other hand, sexuality, a very basic dimension of our personhood, is our self-understanding and self-expression, our way of being in the world, as male or female. [1]

Our emotions, given us by the Lord, are intended to serve – to serve the truth in love. They are never to be our masters. The world, especially through the media, will try to tell you that you need to fully express all emotions whenever you feel them. They say, let them “rule” you and determine how you will think and act in every situation. The world defines that as an expression of “freedom.” Do you know that is a big lie? When God created us, he gave us an emotional package that – when used under the lordship of Christ – can fuel just anger, courage, hope, love, confidence, joy and peace. In short, we are given the means to serve the Lord and his people with true joy.

1. INTRODUCTION.

There is need, an urgent need to give positive and gradual affective relationship education to people especially the youth, paying attention to the dispositions of Vatican II council. Silence is not a valid norm of conduct in this matter, above all when one thinks of the ‘hidden persuaders’, which use insinuating language.
