Sex is distinct from sexuality. Sex is a biologically based need. Oriented toward generation of new life and toward pleasure and release of tension as well. The aim or goal of sex is genital activity culminating in organism. On the other hand, sexuality, a very basic dimension of our personhood, is our self-understanding and self-expression, our way of being in the world, as male or female. [1]

Our emotions, given us by the Lord, are intended to serve – to serve the truth in love. They are never to be our masters. The world, especially through the media, will try to tell you that you need to fully express all emotions whenever you feel them. They say, let them “rule” you and determine how you will think and act in every situation. The world defines that as an expression of “freedom.” Do you know that is a big lie? When God created us, he gave us an emotional package that – when used under the lordship of Christ – can fuel just anger, courage, hope, love, confidence, joy and peace. In short, we are given the means to serve the Lord and his people with true joy.

1. INTRODUCTION.

There is need, an urgent need to give positive and gradual affective relationship education to people especially the youth, paying attention to the dispositions of Vatican II council. Silence is not a valid norm of conduct in this matter, above all when one thinks of the ‘hidden persuaders’, which use insinuating language.

‘be perfect as your heavenly father is perfect.’ [Cf. Mt. 5:48].

 

 Holiness of life means living towards the way of perfection with spiritual progress, which entails the ascesis and mortification that gradually lead to living in the peace, and joy of the beatitudes. The second Vatican council says that, all the faithful, whatever their condition or state, are called by the lord each in his own way, the perfect holiness whereby the father himself is perfect; all are called to holiness: ‘be perfect as your heavenly father is perfect.’ [Cf. Mt. 5:48].

THE CHURCH AS A NETWORK OF SMALL COMMUNITIES

The small Christian communities were the closest step for the

Christians to the shared daily life of the New Testament Church.

In this modern world, one would not be wrong to say that Christian community has come to mean almost anything and therefore almost nothing. In fact, some people think of it as a social gathering after or before mass. Others believe that Christian community has something to do with suicidal cults. Still others consider Christian community to be groups of parishioners meeting periodically in prayer groups, Bible studies, Renew groups, faith-sharing groups, etc. However, Christian community, by biblical standards, is to accept God's grace to become one with the Lord and our brothers and sisters in Christ as the Father and Jesus are one (Jn 17:21).

Everything happens for a reason

ENVY VS JEALOUSY

The main difference between envy and jealousy is that envy is an emotion related to coveting what someone else has, while jealousy is the emotion related to fear that something you have will be taken away by someone else.
